Ashman is a multi-award winning producer and director who is also renowned for his acting and entrepreneurial finesse. He has owned some of the world's most legendary nightclubs, including Studio 54, The Lenora, and Veruka. On July 18, 2024, he will celebrate his birthday at DOM in New York, a classy speakeasy bar and event venue. This by-invitation-only event will be hosted by Michael James and Jason Chaos with guests including Bo Dietl, Damon Dash, Angel Salazar, Richie Rich, Bob Kravitz, Maya Phipps, and Richard "Handsome Dick" Manitoba in attendance.

There will be live music by David Katz, Bobby Ishak, and Prince Hakim Bell, as well as a special performance by Grandmaster Melle Mel.
