Pragyan International University publishes its Prospectus
The Oberoi Grand Hotel, Kolkata, West BengalPragyan International University (a Statutory University established under Sec 2(f) of UGC, Govt. of India and Act No. 11, 2016 of the Govt. of Jharkhand) published its prospectus for their inaugural academic session 2016-2017 in the propitious presence of the Hon’ble Chief Minister of Jharkhand Shri Raghubar Das. Those present at the occasion were the University’s Chancellor and Founder, Dr. Suresh Kumar Agarwal, CEO of Pragyan Foundation, CA Mr. Chandan Agarwal and the University’s registrar Mr. Sushil Kumar Agarwal. The Pragyan International University Act received assent of Her Excellency, Smt. Draupadi Murmu, the Hon’ble Governor of Jharkhand and was published under the Government of Jharkhand Official Gazette vide Notification No. 312 of 2016.
The inaugural year’s prospectus includes the Overview, Background, ‘Vision, Mission & Values’, the Philosophy of the University, the Motto and the Five Pillars upon which Pragyan International University stands, viz., Wellness, Yoga, Spirituality, Heritage & Peace.
The 2016-17 prospectus features an overview and entry requirements of each course on offer and services available for students. The prospectus puts its primal focus on every detail of the programmes available under its twelve departments; namely, Alternative and Holistic Medicine; Naturopathy and Yoga; Psychology, Psychotherapy and Counselling; Dietetics and Nutrition; Paramedical Sciences; Oriental Studies; Religion, Social Welfare and Peace Studies; Law; Environmental Sciences; Journalism and Mass Communication; Education; Library Information Science. The prospectus will be available online very soon and printed copies will be available during information meetings with prospective students.
Pragyan International University, Ranchi, Jharkhand, has been established by the Government of Jharkhand vide Act No. 11 of 2016 as per Sec 2(f) of UGC, Government of India. The Act received assent of the Governor of Jharkhand and was published under the Government of Jharkhand Gazette Notification No. 312 of 2016, dated 16th May, 2016.
Pragyan International University is recognized under Sec 2(f) of UGC, Govt of India and empowered to award degrees as per Sec 22 of UGC Act, 1956.
