Voolsy, iBeacon technology based mobile solution which lets people order, customize and pay with their phones without bothering the waiter has teamed up with taxi booking app Uber. The partnership allows Uber customers to get lucrative offers in Voolsy partnered outlets and Voolsy users to avail free rides with Uber.

This feature rolled out in Ahmedabad on 13th August and would be valid for a week until 20th August.

Under this collaboration, Voolsy users who are first time users of Uber get 2 free ride upto Rs. 75 with code 'VOOLSY' while Uber users get upto 25% off and additional Rs.100 if they are a first time Voolsy user with code 'UBER' when they dine in Voolsy partnered outlets in Ahmedabad.

Smit Nebhwani, founder and CEO of Voolsy, said: “We're constantly looking for ways to improve every restaurant goers dine-out experience. This partnership makes eating-out more convenient as with wait-less dining you get comfortable travelling experience with the Voolsy app connecting to Uber services seamlessly.”

With a strong presence in restaurants, cafes, bars and lounges of Ahmedabad, Mumbai, Bangalore with 70+ outlets and plans to launch in Pune and Delhi soon, Voolsy aims to make its presence felt in major cities across India and soon abroad as well. Voolsy has tie-ups with brands like Havmor and Pizza Express and major brands like Papa John's and Ramada are in process to get associated. The app has integration with Micros, Pet Pooja, Brainpower, iDine and integration with top POS companies in India is in pipeline, with the aim of providing hassle-free dining and operations to every restaurant goer and restaurant.

Voolsy creates a great dining out experience by letting you skip the line. Order and pay through your phone without looking for the waiter. Launched in 2016, Voolsy is the first mobile app in the restaurant sector in India to use iBeacon technology.
