The COVID-19 pandemic has placed an unprecedented strain on the world's healthcare systems. At the peak of the pandemic in April 2020, there were staggering declines in screenings for colon (75%), breast (85%), lung (56%), and prostate cancer (74%). Furthermore, in March 2020 alone, the pandemic resulted in the cancellation of nearly 800 lung cancer screening appointments.
