A new, fast picture viewer for Windows Vista (and XP)
Geneva, Switzerland, January 17, 2007 – FastPictureViewer.com released a new image viewer for Windows Vista and XP, taking advantage of modern personal computer hardware.Instead of proposing a plethora of image cataloging, indexing or editing functions, this program concentrates on the bare-bone essentials and only focuses on speed. It uses all the power of the latest-generation personal computers (ample memory, multi-core processors, fast disks and high performance DirectX graphic accelerators) to quickly load and display images in full-screen or windowed mode.
The user-interface is minimalist and deliberately kept simple, with the aim to make the program easy to use for everyone. Its main purpose is to help users review a large quantity of digital images and quickly make a rough pre-selection; as such it can be useful to image editors or professional and amateur photographers alike, when they need to go through hundreds if not thousands of new pictures and want to rapidly review what they’ve got, before going on with their usual post-processing workflow.
