Dallas Market Center and Heart on Main Street Team Up for Love Local Day, Celebrating Independent Retailers

Dallas, TX - June 17, 2024 - Dallas Market Center (DMC) and Heart on Main Street, a non-profit championing independent retailers, proudly announce a collaborative Love Local Day on June 20-21, 2024, during the Total Home & Gift Market (June 18-25). This special event celebrates the vital role independent retailers play in communities nationwide.

Love Local Day will showcase the strong partnership between DMC, a leading wholesale marketplace, and independent retailers. Participating showrooms will host receptions throughout the two-day event featuring delicious food, refreshing drinks, and exciting giveaways for visiting buyers. This festive atmosphere fosters connections and appreciation between wholesalers and the independent retailers they empower.

In addition to the showroom festivities, DMC will demonstrate its commitment to independent retailers by matching donations made to Heart on Main Street up to $5,000. The retail storefronts will represent a florist, gift store, women's boutique, and home décor store, each stocked with merchandise from Dallas Market Center exhibitors.
The messaging will be clear: the Dallas marketplace supports independent retail and the mission of Heart on Main Street. Adjacent to the storefronts will be an opportunity to donate to Heart on Main Street and support independent retail.
