WINAICO with more than 35,000 WST modules in Holland’s largest rooftop system
Creglingen, 26 July 2016 – Within the next 12 months, the Dutch company Royal Dekker together with other system suppliers and installation partners will install over 35,000 Winaico modules of the type WST-260P6, spread over 26 of the company’s roofs.
The total output of 9.3 MWp is achieved on a roof area of more than 155,000 square metres and is therefore Holland’s largest rooftop system. The implementation of photovoltaic projects is for Royal Dekker the most important cornerstone in its endeavour to be independent of fossil fuels. At an early stage, Dekker Hout B.V. also adopted a sustainable forest programme with FSC-certified forests.
“We are delighted that we were able to convince Royal Dekker of the benefits of Winaico modules and are now part of this particular project“, said Marc Ortmanns, head of European Sales and Marketing at Winaico.
