Thompson & Knight's IP Practice Expands in Dallas

The international law firm of Thompson & Knight LLP is pleased to announce the expansion of its Intellectual Property (“IP”) Practice Group with the addition of Reagan Allen and Mark Perantie in the Firm’s Dallas office. These attorneys strengthen an already thriving and rapidly expanding IP practice comprised of attorneys from four of the Firm’s global offices.

Allen joins Thompson & Knight as an Associate in the Firm’s Dallas office. He focuses his practice on intellectual property litigation and transactions, including patent infringement matters, trademark and trade secret matters, and copyright matters. Allen also has experience in commercial and business litigation, bankruptcy, and entertainment law transactions. He received his J.D. and a Master in Intellectual Property from Franklin Pierce Law Center in 2003 and his B.S. in Business Marketing and Business Management from the University of Missouri at Columbia in 1996.

Perantie joins Thompson & Knight as a Staff Associate in the Firm’s Dallas office. He focuses his practice on intellectual property matters, including patent infringement cases involving electronics, telecommunications, and software. He received his J.D., cum laude, from SMU Dedman School of Law in 2007 and his B.S. in Electrical Engineering, summa cum laude, with a minor in Math from the University of Oklahoma in 1996. Perantie also has seven years of previous experience in software and hardware development, primarily in the telecommunications industry.
