Busch at the ICCG 2016 in Braunschweig
Vacuum plays a crucial role in numerous coating processes for metals, plastics or glass. Before the actual coating process starts, vacuum is used to evacuate the process chamber. During the coating process, reaction gases are conveyed by the vacuum system.
For many conference participants this was an important and interesting topic, and they used the opportunity for detailed exchanges of information with the Busch vacuum specialists and to discuss vacuum-specific topics. At the ICCG, Busch presented the COBRA BA 0100 C dry screw vacuum pump, as well as a Zebra oil-lubricated two-stage rotary vane vacuum pump.
The COBRA BA 0100 C, with its efficient air cooling and the highest pumping speed in its output class, is ideal for all applications requiring effective, fast and reliable vacuum generation. The vacuum process for coating processes requires a completely reliable vacuum in the process chamber. The COBRA BA offers optimal energy savings potential due to a highly efficient motor with stand-by mode.
The two-stage Zebra RH rotary vane vacuum pump is also suitable for reliable vacuum generation in coating processes. The robustness and reliability during operation speak for the tried-and-tested rotary vane technology. Zebra rotary vane vacuum pumps work with the highest efficiency, and supply a constant pumping speed even at low pressure. A gas ballast valve also enables the pumping of condensable vapours.
