Feds For Freedom Awarded Heritage Innovation Prize 2024

Heritage Foundation Recognizes Feds For Freedom's Work to De-Weaponize the Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Efforts of the Federal Government

Washington, DC (May 20, 2024) - Feds For Freedom is pleased to announce the organization has been selected as a Heritage Innovation Prize recipient. The Heritage Foundation awards the Innovation Prizes to financially support innovative solutions to the most pressing issues facing America.

The Heritage Innovation Prize will provide funding for Feds For Freedom's legal efforts in de-weaponizing the Biden Administration's radical diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) policies. Feds for Freedom will receive a $100,000 award in support of its effort to dismantle the pronoun brigade in our federal agencies. The desired outcome is to conduct pre-enforcement challenges in federal court against these policies based on First Amendment protections of freedom of speech and religious liberty. Currently, there are more than 100 plaintiffs from across the federal workforce who are prepared to risk their careers to stand up for liberty, transparency, and constitutional rights.

Marcus Thornton, President and Co-Founder of Feds For Freedom released a
statement upon announcement of the award:

"Feds For Freedom is a grassroots coalition of thousands of federal workers who
believe the government should promote freedom and be reflective of the values
of the American people. We led the fight against draconian COVID mandates,
and prevented the firing of hundreds of hundreds of thousands who stood up for their beliefs with the injunction we won in Feds v. Biden. We are grateful that
Heritage is standing with us to counter the weaponization of woke, radical DEI
policies within the federal government."

Heritage Foundation President, Dr. Kevin Roberts also released a statement:

"Rather than advancing their department missions on behalf of the American
people, federal agencies are advancing a radical social agenda. These rogue
agencies misuse taxpayer dollars to mandate a woke culture in the federal
workforce. They must be held accountable.

All Americans should praise Feds for Freedom's unveiling of these abuses. Their
critical work allows the American people to see how the government uses their
taxpayer dollars and paves the way for them to be held more accountable."
