Online Retail Sales Grew to $143.2 billion in 2005
Spending on online advertising, excluding search, increased 11.5 percent during the first nine months of 2005, according to a report released by TNS Marketing Intelligence. $6.1 billion was spent on Internet display ads over the first three quarters of 2005. This is up from $5.4 billion for the same period last year. Serious online marketers are looking closely at their advertising budgets.
