Ovvio Oils announces discount on essential oil blend after name change
Strength Plus Protection Essential Oils Blend

Strength Plus, launched in May last year, was based on the ‘Four Thieves Vinegar’ or ‘Marseilles Vinegar’, a concoction believed to have protected the users from the bubonic plague that had swept across Europe in the 1700s.
Ovvio Oils present day version contains nine essential oils, which include the core ingredients from the legendary concoction. It contains essential oils of cinnamon bark, cassia, clove bud, lemon, rosemary, eucalyptus, peppermint, cajeput, and frankincense. Strength Plus helps purify the air by eliminating bacteria, fungi, and viruses. It may also strengthen the immune system, which in turn increases the body’s ability to naturally fight disease and infections.
The Four Thieves Vinegar legend:
According to the legend, the "Four Thieves Vinegar" or the "Marseilles Vinegar" was used to stave off infection and disease during the 1700s when the Bubonic Plague hit the French city of Marseilles. A reference to the vinegar can be found in the medical journal Pharmacologia (bit.ly/29LIkUJ) by Dr. John Ayrton Paris, a British physician. The book, published in the year 1825, mentions four thieves that went around the town stealing from the dead bodies; however, they did not contract the disease. The potent concoction was attributed with protecting them from the infection.
