Next Best Run Coaching Service Launches Next Level New York Marathon Training Program
FLAGSTAFF, AZ - MAY 15, 2024 - Next Best Run, an online coaching service led by U.S. Olympian Kim Conley and longtime running coach Drew Wartenburg, is pleased to announce a unique training program for the 2024 TCS New York Marathon. This comprehensive offering will provide twenty weeks of guided training, a series of informative online meetings, in-person athlete support on race weekend, and more.
After guiding more than fifteen athletes to successful finishes in New York in 2023, Next Best Run is pleased to offer marathon coaching in a 'team format' for runners of all abilities via Next Level New York. In addition to twenty weeks of training designed for the unique demands of the New York course, the program will also feature five online team meetings to help runners learn more about ways in which they can maximize performance in training and on race day. Aside from sessions led by Conley and Wartenburg, team meetings will consist of a nutrition seminar featuring Meghann Featherstun, of Featherstone Nutrition, and a sports performance workshop with Dr Paul Salitsky, a sport psychologist and retired UC Davis professor.
Throughout the program, contact, support and interaction between coaches and fellow runners will be possible through the Final Surge online training platform. As marathon training comes to a close and runners prepare to peak, Conley and Wartenburg will join athletes in New York on race weekend for a Saturday shakeout run and for individual time at a hospitality suite located on Central Park South.
