Spanish learning with fun – a typical week full of activities

Spanish language students do not only profit from very good educated teachers, they also get to experience many exciting activities.

Valencia. How does a typical week at a Spanish language school in Valencia look like? In addition, what can you expect when you step into the language school for the first time, you do not know anybody and you have no clue how to fill the hours in between classes? The sun and the sea are great, but it would be more fun with friends…
At a good language school that should not be a problem. Here you not only learn Spanish, you also have the opportunity to live Spanish and find a lot of friends through a multitude of activities.
Arriving Monday morning, you first have to complete a placement test. Afterwards you are set and ready to go! Either you will be placed in a course right in the morning from 10 am to 1:30 pm or in one in the afternoon at 4 pm; Regardless of the course an overview of the most famous sites of the city will be given in form of a city tour of Valencia, which will be offered at the first day. This little trip portrays the first opportunity to get to know other language students, with whom you could arrange to meet to go to the sea or in to the city later on that day.
From that point forward the program varies from week to week. Therefore, it always stays interesting, you could e.g. go bowling that night at 7:30 pm; at 8:30 you could join a workshop to make balloon animals or go to a Tandem meeting (one speaks Spanish, the other one English) and finally at 10 pm you could go to a bar and join some friends with some beer. A teacher always supervises the activities; the other participants are language students. Here you can try yourself in a Spanish conversation, getting better and more secure with the language and finding new friends.
Rapidly it continuous on Tuesday, because at 10 am or 4 pm you can go to the sea with a group; at 7:30 you can enjoy a traditional meal at the Bienvenida Paella Party and spend the evening there or profit from the Spanish nightlife.
The Wednesday holds new adventures: at 10 am or 3 pm, you will get the opportunity to visit the Albufera, at 7:30 pm you can learn the Spanish slang, at 8:30 pm you can enjoy Tapas at a typical tapas bar or go and drink Chupitos. If you still have energy, you can join a group at 10 pm to learn how to dance Salsa.
On Thursday and Friday, you can visit the Museum de Bellas Artes or play soccer. You can also try an “Agua de Valencia” or “la Hochata” or go to the well-known club “Marina” or on a fototour through Valencia. You can also participate in a cine karaoke (here you will perform songs from well-known movies).
Saturday portrays the perfect ending of the week. You can dress up and join the parade of the Morso y Cristianos. It is obvious that this wide, cultural and athletic program holds something for everybody. To live Spanish, not only learn it is the motto of the Spanish language school Costa de Valencia. To find new friends is made very easy here. This also opens the door to not only learn the Spanish lifestyle and culture but also the one from a variety of different countries. A typical week at a Spanish language school is definitely worth to experience, because what you are able to do here, you cannot do anywhere else.

Since 1995 the language school Costa de Valencia has focused on teaching Spanish to non-native speakers. This language school, which is situated in the heart of Valencia, is a Centro Acreditado of the Instituto Cervantes and a member of many associations.
The teaching material, which is used during the lessons, is worked out by a team of well-versed teachers. One of the most important aspects of teaching in this school is the individual involvement of every single student. This way every student has the possibility to speak very much during the language course. Furthermore, both managers place big value the quality of the language lessons and a broadly diversified leisure programme.
