Tracy Morgan's Near Death Experience Detailed On Oprah Very Similar To Other NDE's Says Brian McLaughlin, Author Of 'A Flight Without Wings'

In a study published in the Lancet in 2001, it was reported that around 30% of patients with an NDE reported seeing a celestial landscape or had a meeting with a deceased relative. 50% of those with an NDE had an awareness of being dead or experienced positive emotions. The study identified a large number of common elements across the NDE experience. It is this group of common elements that convinces many people that the NDE experience is a real phenomena worthy of further scientific study.

In one of the more recent, entertainer Tracy Morgan described an NDE during an interview with Oprah Winfrey. He remembers talking to his father, who had passed away in 1987. His father reportedly told him it was not his time to die, and that he still had to finish the job. During the interview he stated that his life has been transformed.
