“It was the music, plain and simple,” said Sundy Macalinao, Founding Partner of Fried Roots. “Our drive to create Time was to bring the music we weren’t hearing on the radio out to the people.”
Lost Thought & Shifty J began their music endeavor in 1999 as aspiring producers and artists in Los Angeles. In 2008, Lost Thought & Shifty J enter the Hip Hop arena with an inspired second release with a greater focus on inventive production and lyrical prowess.
Fried Roots began in 2007 as a joint creative and business venture between producers Sundy Macalinao and Mario Mendoza Jr. Fried Roots is committed to bring about the evolution of music and music culture.
