What inspired you to write The Success Guidebook?

How did your background and experience influence your writing?

When our youngest of four sons went into first grade, I decided to go back to work in the financial services industry. But, it wasn't all it was cracked up to be.

Trying to juggle my kids, job and marriage, I kept experiencing this feeling of not being able to be great at everything, feeling unsuccessful, and overwhelmed. I knew others were experiencing it too. One day, I closed my door and wrote down the words best ever me and best ever you.

In 2008, I quit my job, leaving behind an almost two-decade career in the financial services industry to open the doors to the Best Ever You. Today, Best Ever You has become a multimedia brand and platform with millions of fans and followers around the world.My experiences to that point led me to becoming the author I am today.

Even back in 3rd grade, my teacher would say to me, "Elizabeth, you're going to be an author someday." However, it wasn't until my father was recovering from a series of strokes, that I began to buckle down and write books.
