New Comienzos Extends Outreach to Texas, Leveraging 21st Century Technologies in the Lone Star State

New Comienzos NGO responded to the migrant humanitarian crisis in Texas with a significant mission to extend support in the Lone Star State. Under the leadership of founder and Executive Director, Israel Concha, and Volunteer Director Ana Estrada, the visit prioritized leveraging 21st-century technologies to connect individuals with greater opportunities and essential resources.

During the visit, migrant families had the uplifting experience of meeting Niko, the beloved New Comienzos mascot and service dog. Niko, a small 4-year-old Pomeranian, has traveled extensively with the NGO, spreading awareness about the power of emotional support and human-animal connections. Sponsored by New Comienzos, a day at the beach with Niko provided moments of solace and companionship for attendees.

Mr. Concha and his team engaged in impactful initiatives, including outreach to detention centers to offer support and guidance. Collaborative partnerships were also established with other non-profit organizations in the area serving the Hispanic community to collectively address pressing migrant challenges.

A noteworthy aspect of the visit was the generous donation of 100 emergency kits to the Salvation Army in Corpus Christi, Texas. These kits were tailored to meet the immediate needs of families facing emergency situations, including migrant families residing in local shelters.

The success of this endeavor was made possible through collaboration with key partners, including the Oracle Health Foundation, United Airlines, WorkForceMX, Herencia Hispana, and the philanthropic efforts of Israel Concha. Since its establishment in Nevada in 2022, New Comienzos NGO has been committed to amplifying its impact and supporting thousands of individuals in need.

Reflecting on the visit, Israel Concha emphasized the critical role of technology and collaboration in driving positive change. He highlighted initiatives such as the New Comienzos basecamp 'ElevatingDream, Hopes, and Futures,' as exemplars of the organization's dedication to effecting meaningful change.
