wirelessmaxx - drahtlose Kompetenz GmbH, headquartered in Germany, was officially confirmed as the first authorized STARLINK Integrator & Reseller headquartered in Germany in March 2024. With Managing Director Robert Peter, the company is thus consistently taking the next step in offering its customers fail-safe and fast Internet anywhere in the world. As a reseller, the company, which was founded in Königsfeld, Baden-Württemberg, in 2002, not only has direct access to the latest products, but also to a wide range of business service tariffs directly from STARLINK.

The ambitious Managing Director explains: "The STARLINK satellite constellation offers unparalleled coverage, from rural areas to remote locations and even on the water. With STARLINK, emergency response personnel, police and security agencies or international transportation companies, for example, can access the resources and data they need anytime, anywhere." The company has extensive experience in the provision of high-end WLAN. In addition to STARLINK hardware and tariffs, wirelessmaxx has been offering reliable WLAN for events such as cultural and sporting events, trade fairs, congresses, concerts and festivals for many years, including the Veltins Arena in Schalke, the Bavaria Film Studios in Munich and currently at a major construction project ElbX.

wirelessmaxx - drahtlose kompetenz GmbH also specializes in supplying industrial areas with Internet quickly and directly, and can do this in just a few days. Its many years of registration as an Internet service provider / MSP with the Federal Network Agency, combined with close cooperation with STARLINK, creates the ideal basis for this service.

In 2019, Elon Musk's aerospace company SpaceX began launching Starlink satellites into Earth orbit and using them to establish global Internet access. STARLINK satellites orbit the Earth at an altitude of around 550 km and now cover the entire globe. As the STARLINK satellites are in a low orbit, the latency time is significantly lower - around 25 ms compared to 600+ ms for geostationary satellites. To date, almost 6,000 Starlink satellites are in orbit, with a planned constellation of 12,000, expandable to 42,000 satellites.

"As a German-speaking partner, we are always available to our customers and help with integration into existing IT systems. Our many years of experience with public authorities and the corresponding specifications and processes speed up implementation considerably. Last but not least, the European Championship 2024 is one of the next big events for both public viewing and security concepts, for which STARLINK technology would be a great advantage," emphasizes Robert Peter.
