The Swivel Seats
Arrived at your destination? You need to transition from driving to camping mode. Designed for comfort and versatility the Trakkadu series includes driver and passenger swivel seats with lumbar support and armrests. Not only do these features increase your living space and the ability to utilise the front cab, they highlight the seamless integration between a passenger van and your camping needs.

The Pop Top Roof
Setting up for the night? If you’ve had anything to do with Trakka’s VW Trakkadu series over the years you’ll be familiar with how easy it is to operate the gas strut assisted tilted roof. With 3-screened vents, a simple locking system and composite construction for incomparable structural integrity; it’s sleek, strong simple to manoeuvre and offers effective insulation and plenty of standing room within.

The Diesel Stove

The Sliding Rear Seat/Bed
Ready for bed? Thanks to a multi-position slide system, the Trakkadu features an easy to make bed. Piggy backing on the slide system feature is the Trakkadu’s ability to create numerous seating positions for dining, travelling or boot storage for carrying bulky items. Complete with built-in seatbelts, foldaway headrests, adjustable backrest and bed mechanism, this is simple to set up and sensationally comfortable.

The Electronic Control System
A customised TRAKKA Electronics Control System monitors house and vehicle battery charge, water tank levels, temperature and time, so with the touch of a button, you know exactly that of your campervans immediate efficiencies as well as activation of the 12V house battery system, as well as operation of the water pump and awning.

Thanks to a 7-speed direct shift gearbox which delivers the smooth, fast and efficient auto transmission through snow and icy conditions, sand, mud and across creek crossings, now you can enjoy the comfort of a highway vehicle that will take you off road too. You see the upgraded Volkswagen T6 chassis with 3,200kg GVM ensures a more substantial suspension mounting system on the body, which guarantees durability off road. Better yet, the AT’s fuel consumption is synonymous with Trakka’s on-road 4Motion models.

The AT enjoys increased clearance (this vehicle takes ground clearance from standard 180mm to 220mm) and superior performance with Volkswagen approved Seikel Heavy Duty off road raised suspension. Thanks to new front struts, shock absorbers and springs; as well as new rear springs and shocks this Volkswagen suspension, partnered with engine and gearbox guards is designed to handle the extremes of outback travel and to protect your campervan vitals in the most testing of conditions.

Furthermore, you can go anywhere, anytime, and for longer thanks to the inclusion of Good Year Cargo Vector Tyres; which are excellent for on and off road performance. Offering a taller sidewall profile, these all terrain tyres can handle extreme corrugation and potholes. What’s more the AT takes advantage of a roof mounted 120w solar charging system; using the sun when stationary to automatically charge the house battery as a priority and trickle charge the starting battery.

You’ll find the following options fitted to Trakka’s demo model: diesel room heater, alloy bull bar; window tint for added privacy; driving light LED bar, alloy wheels as well as metallic paint.

What’s New in 2016 For the Trakkadu AT?
The AT boasts new and contemporary cabinetry colours, integrated and dimmable LED strip lighting. Furthermore this vehicle features an electric side roll-out awning, 12V swivel fan for increased air circulation, customised automotive fabric linings throughout, crockery set and crockery storage system for compact and easy access to your dining essentials. Trakka’s most noticeable update is the 2-in-1-window blind system, which can be positioned at any preferred height; you can have privacy, shade and the benefits of a quality fly screen system.
