Slamdog Nation Cuts Ties With Fishbowl Radio Network

Fort Worth, TX – Popular Internet Radio Show Slamdog Nation announced today it is severing ties with Fishbowl Radio Network due to quality control issues. The once a week show aired Monday’s. It featured news and comedy. Founders Patrick Schumacher and Derik Lattig wish Fishbowl the best of luck.

Schumacher says it was a difficult decision to leave.

“We like the group on a personal level, but professionally they could never reach the bar we’ve set for Slamdog Nation to go worldwide.”

Lattig says three months of on-air difficulty proved in the end to be just too much ‘hassle’.

“We have a talented crew with over 90 years combined broadcast experience, and it’s difficult for that to shine through when music levels blast over our talent and interviews week after week. We want to be as professional as possible in our sound and despite weekly meetings with the Fishbowl staff and owner, problems continued.”

“We wish them well with their cavalcade of religious shows and first time jocks discussing local issues, but we are media professionals and that level of commitment just wasn’t there“, Lattig said.

The move couldn’t come at a better time as Slamdog Nation has entered talks with Sirius Radio for its own satellite radio channel.

“It has been difficult to attract potential commercial stations due to the sound quality of the show which was beyond our control. We are also talking with a DFW based FM Station”, said Schumacher.

The Slamdog Nation thanks its faithful listeners and guests and will soon update where you can find it next.
