The membership of the International Association of Associate Physicians (IAAT) has been growing exponentially, especially in the European Union, and has therefore welcomed its first German board member, Céline Dubois (www.international-physician-registry.org). Since February 1, 2024, Dubois has spearheaded the IAAT's liaison office for non-US members, a role critical for European operations amidst the increasing migration of foreign-trained doctors to the European Union. This period has seen rising challenges in verifying the qualifications of medical professionals affected by global conflicts, leading to essential discussions about the authenticity and qualifications of practitioners arriving in the European Union.

1. Establishing an international registry of fully licensed physicians, which has become increasingly vital in today's context of global migration, which has been growing exponentially. 2. Upholding the quality of higher education, particularly in the medical field. In the United States, private accrediting agencies set evaluation standards and perform peer assessments to verify compliance. Institutions that meet these standards are granted accreditation. However, IAAT has taken a stand against the recent trends towards merging regional and national accreditation structures, actions against entities labeled as non-'woke', and the push towards centralization that threatens the autonomy of critical institutions. As such, IAAT currently opts out of collaboration with the authorities in Washington D.C., exercising its constitutional rights.
