German Biotech Company Infinite Roots Collaborates with leading Food Manufacturer Pulmuone in South KoreaHamburg / Seoul - Infinite Roots, a pioneer in the development of mycelium-based nutrition, and Pulmuone, a leading renowned South Korean food manufacturer, are joining forces for a sustainable revolution in food production. Infinite Roots develops innovative products to replace meat, that are based on mycelium of edible mushrooms. This mycelium is the vegetative part of a fungus – essentially a vast root-like network. It is one of the most intelligent natural resources on Earth; a healthy, abundant, nutrient-dense material whose vast potential is only now being realized. It contains valuable nutrients, such as complete protein with all essential amino acids, prebiotic fibers, vitamins, and minerals. Infinite Roots has developed a patented technology to utilize mycelium from edible mushrooms in a novel way for food production.
The newly initiated collaboration combines Infinite Roots' advanced technology in alternative protein production with Pulmuone's comprehensive product development expertise and their in-depth consumer knowledge by offering products across many different categories. Together, the two companies will evaluate the market potential and customer acceptance through extensive consumer research, and retail tests in selected channels in South Korea.
