HATFIELD, PA, May 5, 2016 – Laboratory Testing Inc. (LTI) will be exhibiting at the Rapid 3D Technology event 2016 in Booth #133 on May 17th through 19th in Orlando, Florida. LTI is excited to be a part of Rapid for the first time this year and will be showcasing a full-line of Materials Testing, Non destructive Testing and Specimen Machining capabilities for Additive Manufacturing and 3D Printing.

“We are seeing an increasing interest in both our testing services and specimen machining capabilities from the additive manufacturing industry, indicating the growing popularity of these technologies”, said Mike Hiller, Director of New Business Development. Laboratory Testing Inc. tests many types of materials including metals, powdered metals, polymers and ceramics. A wide-range of Mechanical, Metallurgical, Chemical, Corrosion and Non destructive Testing methods are offered to help clients with the selection of input materials, evaluation of properties and detection of flaws, including:

The Lab also has a state-of-the-art Machine Shop that operates two work shifts to meet pressing deadlines. All specimens and samples required for destructive testing are machined at LTI, and are prepared to applicable ASTM specifications and customer requirements. Laboratory Testing also provides test specimens to companies that perform their own in-house testing.

The Nadcap and A2LA accredited laboratory is also ISO/IEC 17025 certified and in compliance with ISO 9001 and ISO 13485. Testing, evaluation and analysis are performed for a wide variety of consumer and industrial markets including the aerospace, military, medical, dental and transportation industries. “Our engineers, chemists and other technical experts have years of experience in the business and partner with clients to find solutions to challenging requirements”, add Mike Hiller. “As a result, LTI has an extensive list of customer approvals including GE-S400, LCS Pratt & Whitney, Airbus, Boeing, Rolls Royce, Gulfstream, United Launch Alliance (ULA), Sikorsky, Lockheed Martin, Aerojet Rockedyne, UTC Aerospace, Bell Helicopter, Honeywell, Parker Aerospace, Orbital ATK, RTI Surgical, Zimmer-Biomet.”

For over 25 years, Rapid has been the leading event for 3D printing, scanning, and additive manufacturing. More than 200 exhibiting companies and 4,500 attendees are anticipated. The event also provides over 150 educational sessions and presentations covering the latest news and product introductions. This year’s show is being held at the Orange County Convention Center in Orlando, FL.
