Bassier, Bergmann & Kindler wins Annual Multimedia Award 2008
Two Porsche projects honoredOberhausen, December 12, 2007 - Bassier, Bergmann & Kindler (BB&K), Digital Sales and Brand Specialists GmbH, receives another reputable award this year – the Annual Multimedia Award 2008.
Two of the new media agency’s microsites for Porsche won over the jury equally:
– the webspecials “Respect required. The new 911 GT2” as well as “Da Capo. The new 911 Turbo Cabriolet” (view: www.porsche.com).
The online campaign for the 911 GT2 supported the product launch of one of the strongest unleashed 911 ever. The webspecial tells an action-packed story: Starting with a racy chase between the 911 GT and a helicopter shown in the trailer over to further detailed chapters topped with various pictures and texts full of information that reflect the story. All technical innovations of the 911 GT2 are presented in a powerful and emotional way – the strength and sportiness of the Porsche model are shown to advantage in this webspecial.
The internet presence “Da Capo” accompanied the market launch of the new Porsche 911 Turbo Cabriolet. The combination of two exciting moments – the adventure of driving a convertible as well as a high-performance car – is presented with an innovative and interactive navigation.
The main level consists of a controllable video that leads the new 911 Turbo Cabriolet through various environments. Environmental backgrounds change through the control of the user who gets the feeling to move into the picture. Additional interactive elements as well as detailed topic text top off the online presence. The webspecial has already won two awards this year – the Internet Auto Award and The Favorite Website Award.
A high number of registrations for further digital offers for both models within the first weeks confirm the sale success of both campaigns. “With the combination of story-telling, an interactive navigation and information we were able to make technical innovation liveable through digital media”, says Sascha Martini, CEO of BB&K Ludwigsburg.
The famous “Annual Multimedia Award” is given out annually to top-class ideas and innovative concepts. The awarded projects are then presented in the yearbook “Annual Multimedia - Jahrbuch für Digital Marketing 2008”. The yearbook is a reflection of the spectrum of German-speaking multimedia proposals and a directory for current trends in screen design, user guidance and navigation.
