Simplifile and Tyler Technologies Establish eRecording Alliance
The accord calls for the two companies to continue the seamless integration of their respective eRecording and document recording systems, allowing documents electronically filed by Simplifile “submitter” customers such as title companies, law offices and banks to be received, reviewed, recorded and returned to those same submitters by counties running Tyler’s EagleRecorder recording system. The agreement also provides for Simplifile and Tyler to cooperatively market the alliance and resulting services to their mutual customers, including Simplifile submitters and counties running EagleRecorder, and EagleQuickdocs applications.
“Simplifile is focused on building the premier eRecording network for the real estate industry. This focus is the very reason we have elected to partner with Tyler,” said Paul Clifford, President of Simplifile. “We have a longstanding, productive relationship with Tyler Technologies, and are pleased to officially welcome them into our alliance partner program. Tyler is a respected, well established provider of local government solutions and their recording services enjoy widespread industry acceptance. We look forward to offering the many benefits of Simplifile eRecording Services—including increased productivity, security and profitability—to the businesses served by Tyler-enabled counties.”
More than a trend in land record document submission—eRecording is a government priority at federal, state and county levels across the country. eRecording is the process of submitting, receiving, and processing, via a secure Internet site, documents for recording that have traditionally been delivered to the county for recording by runner, express mail, or courier service. eRecording offers thousands of submitters nationwide filing documents into eRecording-enabled counties the ability to simplify, accelerate and enhance all aspects of the recording process.
Steve Nieman, president of Tyler’s Eagle Land & Vital Records Solutions, considers the relationship with Simplifile to be an excellent decision. “Tyler is always looking for ways to enable its clients to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of their daily operations. We are pleased to have formalized our existing relationship with Simplifile, allowing clients using Tyler’s EagleRecorder product to continue to benefit from the flexibility that results from the integration of the two solutions. We look forward to a successful partnership for years to come.”
Individuals and organizations that do business with Simplifile and Tyler Technologies can contact the two companies directly for information on how they can benefit from this strategic alliance.
