Shanti Mukand Hospital, a prominent healthcare institution in East Delhi, proudly announces the commencement of its 10 Bedded Cleft Lip & Palate Ward in association with Akila Bharatha Mahila Seva Samaja (ABMSS) under the guidance of a distinguished Maxillofacial Surgeon and Cleft Lip & Palate Specialist, Dr. Ravi Kant Singh.
The inauguration was held on December 8, 2023, marked the beginning of a transformative initiative to provide comprehensive cleft care services to children in need. Dr. Ravi Kant Singh, with a successful track record of 4 surgeries in the initial phase, exemplifies the commitment to ensuring the success of this crucial program. This new centre will help the children born with cleft and other congenital facial deformities of the state and neighboring places a hope to smile.

ABMSS, a NGO dedicated to supporting children born with cleft lip and palate and other congenital facial malformations, has facilitated over 68,000 surgeries at 36 locations across India, entirely free of cost. The collaboration with Shanti Mukand Hospital in Delhi is a significant addition to their efforts in making specialized healthcare accessible to those who need it the most.
