Alius Capital have appointed David Roberts as Head of International Trading

Mr. Roberts career to date has been faultless; he was previously global head of fixed income trading, with Barclays Global Investors (BGI) in 2003 and played a major role in their merger with BlackRock in 2009.

Before joining BGI, he was an options market maker trading on the Pacific Stock Exchange floor backed by Group One Trading where he moved to his last role as head of EMEA fixed income trading based with Goldman Sachs.
Prior to this and where he earned his reputation was fixed income trading where he was rapidly elevated to a senior derivatives trader managing the Americas team responsible for executing trades for the Multi-Asset Strategies and Scientific Active Equity groups.
