New Screenshot Capture Software Made for Sharing

Press release from: CC-Devnet Ltd

London based software development firm ccDevnet Ltd is pleased to announce the launch of a new PC screenshot capture, mark-up and share utility called goScreenCapture. Originally intended for software developers, UX/UI designers and IT support desks, goScreenCapture is the perfect software utility for anyone who wants to create a document, build a slide presentation, check artwork, complete a project and work collaboratively. In fact, goScreenCapture is a handy tool for anyone who wants to simply make a point, offer feedback or share a screen grab quickly and easily. Initially built to run on Microsoft Windows, goScreenCapture is free to download without restrictions.
Screenshot Annotation Tools
goScreenCapture offers the user three screen capture options. You can capture the whole screen, a single window or grab any rectangular segment of the screen. Next, unlike many screenshot snipping applications, goScreenCapture provides a series of preconfigured mark-up tools to make annotations quick and easy. The user can choose from Highlighter, Line (with arrow), Box, Text and Text with Line. However, the software also enables the user to create personalised mark-up tools. The user can add, edit and delete as many drawing tools as they require. Finally, goScreenCapture makes sharing a screenshot simplicity itself.
Made for Sharing
goScreenCapture makes it quick and easy to share annotated screenshots. The user can choose to send a screenshot by email or ccDevnet’s own secure file-transfer platform. Alternatively, the user can save the screenshot to their clipboard or to a desktop folder. The user can also copy the screenshot directly into Microsoft Paint for further tweaks. On opening MS Paint, goScreenCapture automatically saves a copy of the screen shot to a local goScreenCapture folder. All screenshots are captured in .png file format (Portable Network Graphics). Using MS Paint you can easily convert captured screenshots to .jpg, .bmp and .gif image formats and send to print if required.
Tas Tasniem, Managing Director of ccDevnet said: “We developed goScreenCapture purely for internal use for software design, presentations and IT support purposes. Then we looked at some of the other screen capture and snipping tools out there and thought ours could offer users something different and better. We already have plans to upgrade the application and offer even more functionality, so watch this space.”
Product Roadmap
goScreenCapture is one of a series of handy desktop applications currently under development with ccDevnet Ltd. The plan is that each application offers standalone functionality while together they form a powerful suite of advanced business tools. The company’s product roadmap includes Mac and native Apple iOS and Android mobile variants of its Windows desktop applications.
