Moteefe launches t-shirts that 'shock' with every selfie
Due to popular demand from customers around the globe, social commerce platform Moteefe have launched a new range of t-shirts that ‘shock’ users with every selfie taken.Using non-harmful electric currents, this new range of clothing is wired with the latest technology that connects to the user’s smartphone device in the hope of wiping out the selfie craze of recent years. Acting as a deterrent when a selfie stick is used or the camera detects the user’s face, a small burst of electricity is transmitted to remind the user that the selfie should not be taken.
With the number of selfies seen on social media growing by 1400% in the last 12 months, Moteefe’s unique social commerce platform currently enables users to design and create customised clothing and merchandise that can to be sold to audiences online and via social media. With many high profile social media influencers and internet marketers using the platform to monetize their audiences, sales of selfie-shock t-shirts are expected to outperform all other styles available.
Moteefe’s CEO Mathijs Eefting commented: “We all know that the selfie craze has gone too far and we saw the opportunity to produce a unique design of clothing that could help to combat the ‘addiction’. Our anti-selfie design is unique to the market and we hope to see the number of selfies decrease in the next year with our selfie-shock technology.
