1-2-1VIEW announces appointment of new CEO, opens office in Singapore
[Hong Kong/Singapore, 21 November 2007] Leading digital signage provider 1-2-1VIEW has announced that Alfred Chong has joined the company as CEO to be based in the company’s newly opened office in Singapore.Tasked with accelerating the momentum 1-2-1VIEW has gained in the market and guide its future growth, Mr Chong has a wealth of experience in the technology and media industries both in the US and in Asia.
During his time in the US, he was instrumental in building CompuCom’s services’ infrastructure in the US and grew the services division into a US$100 million business. Since his return to Asia, Mr Chong has led several American based companies such as Powercell, Capstone and Bowman in expanding into Asia and headed satellite communications company THISS Technologies Inc., based in Singapore, before joining 1-2-1VIEW.
“I’m very enthusiastic to join 1-2-1VIEW and pursue the opportunities that lay ahead for the company. Digital signage has tremendous potential for further growth based on technical innovation and by bringing the advantages of IPTV technology to digital signage, 1-2-1VIEW is in a pole position to deliver truly industry leading solutions,” said Mr Chong.
Mr Chong will be based in 1-2-1VIEW’s Singapore office which was recently opened to lead the company’s further expansion into Southeast Asia.
