Southern Makers
Southern Makers is a yearly two day event that celebrates the creativity in Alabama. The event of this year will be held on 30th April and 1st May, between 12pm to 5pm at the Union Station Trainshed.The main purpose of Southern Makers is to bring together highly curated and handpicked top talent such as artists, breweries, chefs, designers, and craftsmen to one central place which makes it easy for adventurers for getting a sampling of Alabama’s best. It is rich with history in meals, textiles, literature, farming, art and design. Southern Makers will explore the contemporary Alabama-based meals and design with panel discussions, tastings, workshops, demonstrations, maker conversations and a market featuring goods from these southern artisans and chefs.
