New pet accessories company launches, targeting design-conscious pet owners

Somerville, MA – Lion + Wolf is excited to announce the launch of their new company offering vibrant and modern pet accessories for dogs and cats. Founded by textile designer Sarah Rowe, the company has released a new collection of designer pet beds that feature bright colors, playful geometric prints and luxurious materials. Handmade in the USA, the stylish dog and cat beds are aimed at pet owners who love beautiful interiors and accessories as much as they love their pets.

“Pet owners shouldn’t have to compromise style for function when it comes to choosing a pet bed. Our customers have an eye for detail and take pride in their thoughtfully decorated homes; they want their pet’s bed to complement their living space, not just be an eyesore hidden in the corner,” says Rowe. “When I first got a puppy a few years ago, I had trouble finding a dog bed with bright, quirky prints. I was underwhelmed by the plethora of neutral, boring dog beds available – so I set out to solve that problem, and Lion + Wolf was born.”

Lion + Wolf’s colorful pet beds are designed with durability and comfort in mind as well. Product features include:
• Canvas pet bed cover that is machine washable and dryable, with a concealed heavy-duty zipper to deter chewing.
• Pillow insert that is overstuffed with down-like polyester fiber, and constructed with special compartments to prevent stuffing from shifting to the outer edges.
• Available in four sizes and nine patterns and colors.

“We are passionate about craftsmanship and celebrate the handmade,” explains Rowe. “We sew our pet bed covers in our studio just outside of Boston, and we work hard to source our materials domestically whenever possible – our zippers, for example, are manufactured in California. Lion + Wolf is dedicated to supporting other American businesses like ourselves.”
