Press release from: TDmonthly™ Magazine

Report Highlights 300+ Toys, Including Eco-Friendly, U.S.-Made and Award Winners

Los Angeles, Calif. (November 2007) – The nearly indestructible, interchangeable wooden Automoblox Minis cars were among the 300+ products nominated for a report on specialty toys released this month for the holidays by TDmonthly Magazine.

The ultra-sleek cars also won a TDmonthly Top Toy Award, as did 19 other good-for-kids products, including Interactive Lia — a baby doll by Corolle Dolls that speaks four languages — the elaborate Roman Arena by Playmobil and a fighting-robots construction kit, ÜberBots by Überstix. Überstix kits are designed to work with recycled materials and other building kits, too, to minimize costs. (See a full list of award winners below.)

The 2007 TDmonthly™ Specialty Toys Report alerts parents and kids to toys they may never have heard of before — the toys that they’ve been looking for. In the wake of this summer’s recalls, consumers want to know more about what they’re buying, and the 2007 TDmonthly™ Specialty Toys Report can help inform them.

In addition to product photos and descriptions, the report includes comments from specialty retailers, consumer and expert reviews, and company and safety profiles submitted by manufacturers. Companies featured were independently nominated by TDmonthly editorial staff. No manufacturers paid to be nominated or considered for a TDmonthly award.

A PDF of the 2007 TDmonthly Specialty Toys Report is just $5.95. An industry version for retailers and manufacturers includes SKUs and Wholesale Pricing for most products and is available for $9.95. Visit www.tdmonthly.com to learn more.
