WHAT: Swords will collide and glasses will be raised on Saturday, March 5th, 2016 from 1:00PM to 5:00PM at The Wine ConneXtion’s annual “Battle of the Big Cabs” tasting. While the past two tastings have emphasized California’s outstanding 2012 vintage, this is the year of the “underdog.” Throughout the afternoon the experts at The Wine ConneXtion will be pouring some of the world’s most distinct and excusive Cabernets from lesser known wineries. Featuring spectacular stand-outs such as Stewart, Caravan by “Darioush,” Chimney Rock and Miner Vineyards, these wines not only come with a big, bold, flavor, but their lesser-known names mean that they’re available at knock-out prices.
