bmp Holding AG closes 2015 with consolidated sales of EUR 4.8 million

- EUR 25-40 million sales forecast for 2016 confirmed -

Berlin, 24 February 2016 - bmp Holding AG (ISIN DE0003304200), an e-commerce group in the segment of sleep products (such as bedding, bedroom furniture and mattresses), has completed the 2015 financial year in line with its expectations. During its realignment year as an e-commerce company, consolidated sales were EUR 4.8 million, whereof more than half of it was generated in the fourth quarter.

It should be noted that sleepz GmbH was consolidated into bmp Holding for the first time in May and the companies of the Matratzen Union group were consolidated into bmp Holding for the first time in December. Therefore, only part of their annual sales flowed into bmp's consolidated sales in 2015. Annualised sales at bmp subsidiaries amounted to EUR 12.8 million in the previous year.
Grafenfels Manufaktur GmbH, which was established in the summer, launched the sale of its mattresses under the "Grafenfels" brand only in 2016: As a result, it made no contribution to sales in 2015.

The revenue guidance of EUR 25-40 million for 2016 remains valid. A rise in sales as against 2015 is expected as a result of organic growth at the subsidiaries and additional acquisitions. For the subsidiaries alone, the sales target for 2016 exceeds EUR 20 million, of which more than EUR 4 million is attributable to the first quarter.
