New motorcycle accessory parts for Harley-Davidson Softail models

D-Breisach, 19th Sept 2023 WUNDERKIND-Custom has developed a new product line for Softail models of Harley-Davidson. Thus, the brand expands its already extensive assortment by additional ergonomic design parts which promise more comfort and a coherent look.

"Beautiful Harleys deserve beautiful accessories, and that's the reason why we've launched a range of motorcycle accessories for the Softail series from model year 2018. This is not just about a more harmonious look: the CNC milled parts from which some are very intricately designed, also have great practical benefits," says Managing Director Christian Mehlhorn.

For improved operability in the area of the handlebar, individually adjustable brake and clutch levers have been developed in a noble design. Matching these, there are handlebar grips with vibration-reducing rubbers and different grip ends as well as handlebar mirrors with replaceable scratch protection. A highlight are certainly also the simple LED handlebar indicators which cleverly and elegantly replace the bulky originals. All this is supplemented by a protective cover for the oil cooler. All in all, these are parts that beautifully complete the look of the front.

Those who don't really like the look of the original footrest system should take a look at the replacement rests from the German manufacturer. The same goes for the pillion rests. The replacement rests for rider and pillion don't just look good: Thanks to their grippy rubber they also offer more grip for the feet in wet conditions. However, if you want more legroom, you can also replace the entire footrest system with a forward control system. This offers numerous adjustment options and helps to adapt the seating position to individual needs.

Also for the rear custom parts have been created which turn out to be slimmer solutions. The protruding original turn signals can now be replaced with small and elegant LED turn signals from the accessory specialist. These can be easily inserted into the original struts and attached to the existing mounting points. Just their discreet size and classic design bring about a significant, visual change, already. But that is not all, the rear end can be made even slimmer: the existing retaining plate at the fender end, including license plate, reflector and lighting, can be totally removed and then one of the new license plate variants from WUNDERKIND-Custom can be installed. There is a choice of a center license plate holder or a side license plate holder. Both have the license plate light integrated and can be supplemented with a reflector. Chic replacement covers for the timer and the derby as well as design covers for the axle of the rear wheel round off the accessories program.

All accessories have been developed in-house as usual they are made from high-end materials and tested internally to ensure the highest standards of quality and safety. All custom parts comply with the German StVO or have a homologation paper and are compatible for a wide range of motorcycles of the same model family.
