Arsys Internet awarded ISO 27001 Certification for Information Security Management System

Less than 4,000 companies worldwide certified

Spain, November 12, 2007 - Arsys Internet, a provider of Internet services, today announced that it has received the ISO 27001:2005 Certification for its Information Security Management System. Arsys Internet is one of the few companies to have been awarded this certification, the international standard that ensures appropriate safety controls within an organization to safeguard information and intellectual property assets. Less than twenty companies in Spain and 4,000 worldwide are ISO 27001:2005 certified.

Approved in 2005 by the International Organization for the Standardization (ISO), the confidentiality, integrity and availability of the Information are the principal aspects that this international standard supervises.

The entire audit for this certification was conducted by Applus+, an accredited company and one of the main international certification organizations.

This certification is one of many recognitions obtained by Arsys Internet since its foundation in 1996, standing out as well is the standard UNE-EN ISO 9001:2000 for its activities of Design, Development and provisioning of hosting services, housing and domain name registration.
