The MAUSER Infinity(TM) plastic drum series – consisting of high quality recycled plastic material

Brühl/Germany, October 15, 2015

The innovative and sustainable packaging concepts of MAUSER Group and its subsidiary National Container Group (NCG) generated great interest at this year's FachPack exhibition in Nuremberg, Germany. Customers and prospective customers were able to experience first-hand, how the life cycle of industrial packaging is closed.

From September 29th until October 1st, FachPack, one of the leading European trade fairs for products and services in the fields of packaging, technology, processing and logistics, took place in Nuremburg. This year, the trade fair set new records in terms of visitor numbers (43,000) and exhibitors (1,565). The exhibition was a huge success for MAUSER and NCG as well: “FachPack was the ideal platform to introduce our sustainable packaging innovations like the Infinity-Series(TM) and the unique food IBC solution MAUSER FP Aseptic(TM) to existing customers and many prospects. From our perspective, FachPack enjoys increasing popularity from visitors from abroad,” remarked Dr. Urs Geisel, Head of Sales at MAUSER Europe.

One of the highlights at the MAUSER booth was the Infinity(TM)-IBC with an inner container that includes a proportion of recycled material in its multilayer structure. “The combination of less CO2 emissions, reduced consumption of raw materials and its attractive pricing have helped to strengthen the position of this IBC in the product range of NCG,” explained Andreas Schubert, Head of Sales Europe at National Container Group.

As with previous FachPack exhibitions, MAUSER noted a strong customer interest in the extensive range of blow-molded bottles and cans for the chemical and petrochemical industries as well as for crop protection. Customers especially highlighted MAUSER’s industry expertise and flexible product configuration as key strengths.
