AS-Schneider - Display always in full view

Industrial valve specialist AS-Schneider has developed a new manifold for pressure gauges that gives process engineers greater flexibility in the planning of hook-ups. Gauges with a standard design as well as those with a top display can be connected in such a way that users can read them easily from the front.

Pressure gauge manufacturers generally offer their products with a choice of two different designs: the standard design, in which the display is oriented at 90 degrees to the process connection, or the top display, in which this angle is 180 degrees. Pressure gauges with a center back mount are an example.

On behalf of a manufacturer of measuring instruments, industrial valve specialist AS-Schneider has developed a new manifold that enables process engineers to plan and design the hook-up without having to think about what type of instrument to select. The manifold allows an instrument with top display to be mounted such that the display can be read from the front.

This custom solution was based on a dual manifold from AS-Schneider’s proven E Series. It allows the customer to read all pressure gauges without the need for a special hook-up or an elbow adapter. Process engineers have greater flexibility because they don’t have to consider the type of instrument in planning. “This new product is an example of our special strength,” says Rolf Kummer, managing director of AS-Schneider. “It shows that we are able to develop tailor-made solutions based on the needs of our customers.”

AS-Schneider - A company with tradition and innovative strength
The family-owned company AS-Schneider is one of the world-wide leading manufacturers of instrumentation valves and manifolds. The core business of AS-Schneider is industrial valves. AS-Schneider was always an innovation driver and idea generator. For example AS-Schneider supplies special valves and fittings for an offshore installation completely made from Alloy C-276. The main challenge lay in the non-wetted metallic components such as screws, pins and handles made from the Special Alloy

If you want to seek new paths, you must leave the old ones - AS-Schneider has adhered to this adage. The revamped, better and user-friendly website now has a
AS-Schneider - Safe even at high pressure
Pressures of several hundred bar, temperatures up to 600 degrees Celsius: industrial valves, such as those used in power stations, the oil and gas industry or in chemical process systems, work under the most arduous conditions. In such cases, safety is the most important aspect. Not only the enormous pressure, but also the often toxic or aggressive process media can quickly become a hazard for people and the environment. Pressure measurement via PLC: AMS 2710 pressure sensor module for direct connect …
For pressure measurement in devices with integrated SPS/PLC or other modular control, traditional encapsulated transmitters are often too expensive and too large. OEM sensors for soldering are inexpensive, but in addition to their own circuit board, they require various electronic components for adjusting the input and output voltage levels and protection against polarity reversal and short-circuiting. Small, inexpensive pressure sensor modules such as the AMS 2710 with 12..36 V
Wireless pressure sensor
AMSYS presents the barometric wireless pressure sensors of the AMS 4506 series in a small, compact and robust plastic housing (35 x 25 x 13.5 mm³). The wireless pressure sensor AMS 4506 from AMSYS is suitable for barometric pressure measurement and vacuum monitoring. The particular advantage of this wireless sensor is that it can be used in places that are difficult to access, such as wind turbines, in applications that
