Miami, August 8,2023 - Angel Lacret, software developer and business man, is using his skills and experience of over 20 years to enhance the software landscape designing and building small to large web and mobile platforms across different industries, including working as an engineer for major North American companies like Global Till, My Voice / Cognia, Anthem, HFR Database, Medone Corp, Rapid Recovery Agency among others.

Angel has always been passionate about web development, mobile, cloud, Artificial Intelligence (AI), and other software applications and systems for big data, analytics, and reporting. A native Venezuelan, after moving to the US, he founded Cobuild Lab, inspired by working at 4Geeks Developers Community in Caracas and an office of the same company he opened in Maracaibo, Venezuela.

Cobuild Lab is a company with over 75 developers and team members worldwide, with over 150 projects successfully delivered in the past 5 years in multiple industries and countries. As part of the recent Cobuild Lab projects in the US, Angel worked as a software architect, project leader, and Javascript developer for My Voice, a teacher satisfaction tracker platform that helps management identify, track, and manage student performance problems within a set of verticals and indicators, across different schools and school districts.

An intuitive go-getter, in addition to working on Cobuild Lab projects, Angel took on contractor work with Toptal, a company that connects companies with developers. His work as an Advisor for Cobuild Lab includes being a product consultant and software architect for an Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) platform for managing operations for drivers and tickets of trucking companies and a CRM healthcare platform that manages referrals between providers, The Chiasm. His work also encompasses a retail platform for managing the consignment process between marketplace members, which is integrated with multiple POS systems such as Stripe and Square, as well as doing work for FoundD, a consumer mobile platform for asset recovery for the banking industry.

Currently, Angel spends most of his time as a head of engineer for Rapid Recovery Agency, one of the largest repossession agencies in Florida, A $1.7 billion industry in the US, trusted by the nation's top financial institutions. He is developing two groundbreaking products for the banking industry. A business intelligence platform for operational reports and decision-making for the assets recovery industry and a consumer platform with Artificial Intelligence that is set to drive innovation to all the processes in the same industry.

During COVID-19, he worked on creating a telehealth platform for Anthem Telehealth OS. A state-of-the-art video conferencing tool for providers to remote consultations with patients in a safe and HIPAA-compliant environment. Angel has done contract work for Global Till, a one-stop platform for retail, wholesale, and eCommerce that offers analytics, inventory, purchasing, and product management tools; HFR®, an innovative, trusted provider of hedge fund data and analysis to investors, asset managers, and service providers.

His technical skills, too numerous to mention all, include in-depth knowledge of Javascript, Python, Java, SQL, and Scrum Master. Angel's IT skills are also abundant. Highlights include IT Infrastructure architecture and design with AWS and Google Cloud, Apache, and Twilio. He is also AI certified in EDX Harvard's course for Data Science with Python. "As a senior software developer and product manager, I have the opportunity to actively participate in the decision-making of today's great software challenges," said Angel.
