Press release from: Milchkristalle GmbH

/ PR Agency: scrivo PublicRelations
Munich, 16/07/2015. Munich based company Milchkristalle GmbH produces “Nachtmilchkristalle” (night-milk-crystals) on the basis of cow milk, but with a surprising detail – it is milked at night. For the first time a company was able to make natural melatonin available in large amounts.

Milk that has been milked at night contains up to 20 times more melatonin than normal milk and is now available as milk-crystals. Milchkristalle GmbH offers this “night-milk” as a natural product in crystallized form. “Melatonin, also known as “sleep hormone” is included in other foods as well – cherries and walnuts are just a few examples of natural melatonin sources”, says Tony Gnann, founder of Milchkristalle GmbH.

Especially the high bioavailability is an outstanding feature of night-milk. The lactose makes it easier for the body to access the melatonin. That accelerates the effectiveness of the product. “We all know the problem of falling asleep, especially with temperatures like we have at the moment”, says Gnann. With the patented light regime and special feeding the cows produce the milk rich in melatonin. It is then dried by a gentle process at 30 degrees below zero. This ensures the conservation of the sleep hormone with valuable proteins.

With “Nachtmilch” Milchkristalle GmbH follows the growing trend of using natural products instead of synthetic food supplements. Pharmacists already value this new alternative, in order to meet the growing demand for melatonin.

The product is available online for 29,70€ (ca. 32$) per 360g, which corresponds to a daily dose of 12g.
