Cloud company expands its portfolio

Viernheim (Germany), July 7, 2015 – all4cloud GmbH & Co. KG is investing further in SAP Business ByDesign with the purchase of the maintenance software +Maintenance Solutions, developed by the consulting and system house GiS mbH (society of integrated system planning). In the course of the asset deal, all4cloud takes over GiS’s customers, partners and employees related to SAP Business ByDesign and will offer the solution under the name eam4cloud for SAP Business ByDesign.

EAM (Enterprise Asset Management) solutions such as eam4cloud provide companies with a way to manage their assets, machines and buildings without huge maintenance and repair issues. This leads to a reduction in downtimes and the reliable control of business processes. eam4cloud for SAP Business ByDesign can be used by enterprises for their in-house maintenance and service as well as by contract service providers. Specific functions allow companies to plan and conduct maintenance for their facilities and systems in a targeted manner with structured documentation and reporting.

Specifically, eam4cloud for SAP Business ByDesign handles fault management, planning and controlling of regular maintenance measures and testing as well as technical plant descriptions of assets and documentation of all completed work. In addition, eam4cloud for SAP Business ByDesign offers comprehensive project management, reports and analysis. These maintenance-specific functions add to the business functions of SAP Business ByDesign. The SAP add-on has complete functionality and full integration into SAP Business ByDesign. Thus, high-maintenance interfaces due to the use of separate software solutions that lead to errors and release-insecurity don’t emerge.

Currently, eam4cloud for SAP Business ByDesign is being successful used by customers of all sizes and in diverse countries, including Evonik Industries AG, Sydney Harbour Foreshore Authority and Valantur Smop, which are some of the first reference customers. all4cloud offers eam4cloud for SAP Business ByDesign through direct and indirect channels.

The asset deal means that all employees of GiS’s SAP Business ByDesign area, including several developers, are now working for all4cloud, which is developing the actual release. In addition to new functions, new language versions are planned if needed by the clients.
