New "MEYLE Mechanics" Video: Tips on the subject of water pumps

Garage staff who have to replace water pumps can now find helpful support for this repair job on "MEYLE TV" on YouTube. In their latest video, the "MEYLE Mechanics" explain why it is necessary to flush the cooling system. The video also takes a look at the special features of MEYLE-HD water pumps.

For garages, water pumps are a subject that regularly leads to customer complaints. The demands made of the water pump in old cars are greater than for new vehicles. The cooling systems become contaminated from use (wear and tear, ageing) and from possible repairs (replacing the cylinder head gasket, opening the cooling system). It is easy for particles to spread through the entire cooling system and therefore to penetrate the sealing gap of the mechanical seal and destroy the smooth surface. A faulty water pump and an insufficient volume of cooling water can quickly do a lot of damage to the engine.
