Pan-European Basketball Blog in English language launched
Three European Bloggers united to create the first pan-european basketball blog in English language that provides its readers with Basketball news and stories written from a different angle and with a personal touch.(Luxembourg, 19/10/2007) -- The basketball blog Ball in Europe has been officially launched. The web site (www.ballineurope.com) will cover every aspect of European Basketball and sees itself as the main point of information about this topic in the English language blogosphere.
The team of this new web site is composed of Julien Debove, co-chief editor of the French basketball magazine Reverse and co-owner of the website basketsession.com, Tobias Seitz, editor of the German basketball blog hoopnation.de and Christophe Ney, author and owner of europeanprospects.com. All three bloggers are official FIBA.com columnists and collaborate with different other media to transmit the knowledge of the European basketball scene.
This new blog will give a different view than most of the present basketball news portals. Thanks to an international exposure - the three bloggers are born and live in different European countries - and the help of their existing contacts all over the continent, the authors will put together a daily basketball review in English with articles covering everything that is related to basketball in Europe. From game reviews, analysis or scouting to a more "people" oriented view of the news.
This is an unique orientation in the actual European Basketball coverage and the authors try to fill this gap with their exclusive and entertaining content. The different backgrounds of the writers as well as their accumulated knowledge, but also their view of the basketball game as a fan, will provide the readers of the blog with information they will not find anywhere else. The interactivity of the website gives a possibility to the readers to share their comments with the authors and come up with additional thoughts or ideas.
