Edinburgh Fringe 2023 Announces New Comedy, Theatre, Cabaret and All Inclusive Shows
Edinburgh Fringe Festival just announced a new round of shows and artists performing this year. Making their Fringe debuts are viral TikTok sensation and Euphoria cameo star, Thai-American comedian and writer Cam Gavinski, Scottish Comedy Award-winning high-energy comedian and writer Joe McTernan and British Gen Z dancer and performer Elliot Minogue-Stone. Returning Comedy Legends include British legend in all senses and football TV host Ian Stone, who will try to solve all the world's many problems with an hour of finely crafted comedy. American comedian Myq (Mike) Kaplan will bring a new show about the biggest highs of his life and award-winning Canadian comedian John Hastings. For the whole family, The Mighty Kids Beatbox are bringing a brand new inclusive, more than just all-family show, beatboxing, comedy and music into one big fest.'Ian Stone Will Make it Better' - at the Counting House is part of the Free Edinburgh Fringe Festival. Edinburgh-based comedian, Joe McTernan, has over 30 million views and 170k online followers for his hilarious character-based sketches will bring his exciting, high-energy debut show Life Advice That Won't Change Your Life to this year's Edinburgh Fringe. Famed for his observational stand-up and unique style - he shares his irritation at inspirational online life advice and lambasts motivational nonsense. Joe will be performing at Underbelly, Buttercup stage.
Thai-American comedian Cam Gavinski's viral TikTok sketches have amassed over 20 million views across social media, making his Edinburgh Fringe debut with his solo show: BONHEUR at the Gilded Balloon Teviot (Nightclub). "It's a post-modern woke tongue-in-cheek deconstruction of toxic masculinity", he explains. Cam has written, directed, and starred in multiple viral videos that have amassed over 20 Million Views across social media & recently made his TV debut with roles in the latest season of Euphoria.
Elliot Minogue-Stone, will follow in his comedic legend father Ian Stone's footsteps as he makes his debut at Edinburgh Fringe this summer with his striking, contemporary show Groovicle. Audiences are invited to join Elliot's search for collective discovery about who we are, what we like and how we co-exist in this remarkable comedy show defined as a 21st-century contemporary dance cabaret. Elliott will be performing at ZOO Southside - Studio.
Myq Kaplan's illustrious stand-up career includes appearances on The Late Show with David Letterman, The Late Late Show with James Corden, Late Night with Seth Meyers, The Tonight Show with Conan O'Brien, as well as his own specials on Comedy Central and Amazon. Award-winning Canadian comedian John Hastings returns to Edinburgh Fringe with his latest show: The Times They Are A John Hastings. Winner of the JFL Homegrown Award, Coca Comedian of the Year, Canadian Comedy Awards nominee and One to Watch selection by the Comedy Network - John has been lauded as one of the circuit's hardest-working comedians.
