Is Big Eyes Coin the Most Well-Executed Rug Pull Ever?

The title gives it too much credit, as they're not the most sophisticated bunch over there are Big Eyes. But it makes for a catchy title, so let's roll with it, shall we?

The cryptocurrency market has always been a breeding ground for innovation and investment opportunities. However, amidst the legitimate projects, there are occasional rugpulles that aim to deceive unsuspecting investors. In recent times, a particular crypto coin has emerged, drawing attention for all the wrong reasons. Big Eyes Coin (aka: BigEyes or BigEyesCoin) uses the token $BIG to lure unsuspecting buyers with false promises. With numerous reports of misrepresented coin quantities and widespread dissatisfaction among investors, we delve into the details to uncover whether $BIG is indeed the most well-executed rugpull coin ever.

Inadequate Coin Crediting:
One of the most alarming aspects of this particular coin is the discrepancy in coin quantities credited to investors' balances. Astonishingly, a significant majority of investors have reported receiving less than one-third of the $BIG coins they paid for in presale. This massive disparity between the promised and actual coin allocations has left investors feeling defrauded and betrayed.

Lack of Transparency and Accountability:
In any legitimate cryptocurrency project, transparency and accountability are of utmost importance. However, Big Eyes has raised serious concerns in these areas. The project team has failed to provide a satisfactory explanation for the substantial discrepancies in coin quantities. In fact, they ignore the topic altogether. Moreover, attempts to reach out to the team have been met with silence, leaving investors with little recourse. Of the few who have heard from the Big Eyes Coin 'support team' they tell of getting no result, just a very annoying and immature 'have a purr-fect day', making it seem like the project is ran by a bunch of 11 year olds.

Evasive Team Members:
Another red flag associated with this rug coin is the evasiveness of the team members. Genuine cryptocurrency projects typically have identifiable and accessible team members who are committed to the project's success. However, in this case, the Big Eyes team members have chosen to remain anonymous or have disappeared entirely. This lack of accountability raises suspicions about their true intentions and undermines investor confidence.

False Promises and Misleading Marketing:
The success of any cryptocurrency project heavily relies on effective marketing and transparent communication. Unfortunately, the Big Eyes rug coin has resorted to false promises and misleading marketing tactics to attract investors. The exaggerated claims of potential profits and the use of manipulative marketing techniques have led many unsuspecting individuals to invest their hard-earned money, only to be left disappointed and financially harmed.

No Claim Possible After Presale:
Not only did Big Eyes clearly claim on their website (the dodgy sounding domain of bigeyes.space), that holders could claim their tokens on the 15th June 2023,  and not follow through on that promise, leaving hundreds devastated, but they also had the audacity to offer early access to claim for those who paid $100USD. Those who paid this - on top of what they already purchased in the pre-sale - were promised the ability to claim their $BIG coins 6hrs before everyone else. But alas, this was yet another false promise. Even now, as I write this, well into the 16th June (1 day after claiming was supposed to be open to all), noone can claim their tokens. This has lead to a tirade of upset, frustrated and embarrassed buyers to rant about it on Twitter. How they trusted that Big Eyes was a legit coin is beyond me.

My biggest peeve?
Whilst their lies and deception are enough to make anyone go bananas, this is not too unusual in the crypto space. What gets me is that they only have a phone number option available on their websites contact form (no email). Those who filled it out with the promise of a call back (Big Eyes literally state that they will get back to you shortly after you submit the form), are now being spammed on almost a daily basis. As if it isn't enough that they deceived you, you now have to reminded of it every single morning when you check your phone upon waking. They do not provide the legally required option to Opt Out. Even worse, they are using a different number every time they text, so you cannot even block them. The upside to this, I supposed, is that they are likely paying for each number they text, so that's their loss. If you are a victim of this illegal activity, you can report it to the following:

Report it to the FTC at ReportFraud.ftc.gov.

Victims Left in the Dark:
Perhaps one of the most distressing aspects of this fake coin is the aftermath for its victims. The lack of communication and support from the project team leaves them in the dark, with little hope of recovering their investments or seeking justice.

While the cryptocurrency market continues to evolve and offer exciting opportunities, it is crucial to remain vigilant and exercise caution. The $BIG coin from Big Eye Coin serves as a stark reminder of the risks associated with investing in unverified projects. The discrepancies in coin crediting, lack of transparency, evasive team members, false promises, and the resulting financial harm have positioned this particular dirty coin as one of the most well-executed in recent memory.
