Kazawest reports success with previously vacant Vancouver property - 95% rented in 55 days

Kazawest Services Inc. is pleased to release performance results relating to its initial efforts following appointment as the exclusive property management services firm for 50-unit residential apartment near Hastings and Nanaimo in the quickly developing East Village area of Vancouver (www.vancouver.ca).
Within 55 days of initial occupancy becoming available, the Kazawest team had tenants confirmed for 47 of the 50 units available. The remaining units were also rented out and the building is 100% occupied at the time of this release. While over 70 applications were received in the first 30 days, the tenant placement approach included careful selection to ensure a good fit in the family-friendly and community-oriented neighbourhood.
The owners of the property wished to improve the prior management of the building, and Kazawest was chosen to manage both the initial tenant placement as well as the ongoing maintenance. The property was vacant at the time, and
