Nawal Kaffouf is a director and screenwriter of short films, born in Belfort, France.

Why did you choose to shoot in the United States ?

Since I had nominations in several festivals abroad like the United States, Indian, Canadian ... Asks that films in non-English language must have English subtitles.

I said to myself that I should make a film entirely in English shot with American actors.

Who gave you the motivation to realize this dream ?

"The Cancer" my cancer woke me up! You are always afraid that another cancer will come back, so you do everything possible to achieve your goal.

I also decided to stop chemotherapy, because I had to be in good shape to concentrate and work on writing my screenplay.

And thanks to God the creator of heaven and earth my dream has come true.

Do you regret giving up chemotherapy to achieve your American dream?

I have no regrets, since I stopped chemotherapy, I live normally while enjoying the present moment.

What is your film ARTHON about ?

ARTHON is a sci-fi movie, he is an extraterrestrial child, sent to earth to destroy humanity before humanity destroys the planet.

Do you have another film project in progress ?

For now, I'm waiting for the results of the festivals for the selections and nominations for my film ARTHON.
