Royal Cliff Hotels Group and AssetWise join forces to drive Thailand to become a leading sports destination
The sport projects is supported by a number of governmental agencies and officers who appreciate the goals and contribution to the country. A press conference to discuss and explain more about the sports initiative was held at Fitz Club. Khun Vitanart Vathanakul, the CEO delivered the opening speech and welcomed honorable guests including Deputy CEO of AssetWise PLC Khun Paneeta Malaivongs and Marketing Director of Tecnifibre Mr Wee Lim - the two main sponsors of both events. Other honorable guests present at the press conference included Member of the Pattaya City Council Khun Damrongkiat Phinitkarn, Tourism Authority of Thailand Pattaya Office Director Khun Anoma Vongyai and Marketing Representative of Eastern Meetings Incentives, Conventions and Exhibitions (M.I.C.E) Khun Rattanachai Sutthidechanai.
The AssetWise Junior Thailand Championship will feature singles and doubles for players of all levels. Players can earn points toward a national ranking. Over 200 young athletes have registered to join the tournament to sharpen their skills and have some fun. The numbers of participants have exceeded the record set by other venues. Beside the competitive matches, there will be a tennis clinic by coaches of Fitz Club to help prepare players before the games start. The event will also have live food stations and a kids' corner with games and prizes for everyone. Medical officers and support services will be on hand for players throughout the tournament.
As one of the most prestigious tennis competitions in Asia, the ITF MT-700 Masters Championship has seen over 200 players from across the globe competing in singles, doubles and mixed doubles. The event accepts players of the ages between 35 to 75 of all skill levels and nationalities. ITF MT-700 Masters Championship is regarded as a significant tournament on the ITF World Tennis Masters Tour calendar and offers an opportunity to earn points toward a global ranking. With the restrictions of travel being lifted we are expecting over 250 players from across the globe to attend.
